CDN JADE MINE RESOURCES INC. APPOINTS KIRK MAKEPEACE AS DIRECTOR AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Vancouver, BC – August 19, 2015 — CDN Jade Mine Resources Inc. (“CJM” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Kirk Makepeace as a director and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Mr. Makepeace will be responsible for the ongoing operations at the Company’s Ogden Mountain Mine. He brings to the Company decades of valuable expertise and experience in the jade industry. Mr. Shao Li, CEO of CJM commented, “We are pleased that Mr. Makepeace has accepted our invitation to join our Board of Directors, thereby strengthening our team and allowing us to tap into his wealth of knowledge in both operations and marketing of nephrite jade in Canada and abroad.”
Mr. Makepeace has been involved in the nephrite jade mining industry in British Columbia for over 40 years. He has extensive experience in the BC natural resources sector specializing in developing, operating and expansion of mining operations. Mr. Makepeace is also the founder of Jade West Group, a group of companies involved in the entire processing system of nephrite jade, from mining to product retail.

CJM has a mining lease agreement in place with Green Mountain Gemstones Inc., a private jade mining company, whereby the Company has the exclusive right to mine the Ogden Mountain jade mine in British Columbia until December 31, 2020, with the option to renew such mining lease for a further five years. The Company plans to seek further strategic partnerships to expand its operations in the nephrite jade industry, including operating additional jade mines in Canada and elsewhere.
The senior management of CJM has extensive experience in the jade industry with expert knowledge of its history, geological properties, deposit identification and mining processes, to expertise in the marketing, product development and export of jade. The Company’s management has expertise and strong connections to the industry both in BC and in Asia making them ideally suited to advance BC’s jade industry in China and Asia where the stone has been admired and revered for over 8000 years.
